Data Deletion and Modification Process

If you wish to delete or modify the personal data you've provided to us, please follow the steps below:

How to Request Data Deletion or Modification:

1. Compose an Email: Using the email address associated with your AiYu - Anki Companion account, send an email to aiyu@eigenvalue.tools.
2. Subject Line: Depending on your request, please use one of the following subject lines:
   • "Request for Data Deletion"
   • "Request for Data Modification"
3. Body of the Email: In the email body, please provide a clear description of your request. If you're requesting a data modification, please specify the data that needs to be changed and provide the new data.
4. Confirmation: Once we receive your email, we will send you a confirmation of receipt. Our team will review your request, and you will receive a follow-up email detailing the actions taken or any additional information required.

Important Notes:

• Security: For your security, please ensure you send the request from the email address associated with your AiYu - Anki Companion account. This is to verify your identity and to prevent unauthorized changes or deletions.
• Response Time: We aim to process all requests within 30 days. However, response times may vary depending on the volume of requests we receive.
• Data Retention: If you request data deletion, please be aware that due to backup systems and regulations, there might be a short delay before complete removal from all systems. We will, however, ensure that your data is not used for any other purposes once a deletion request is received.
